My passion for cardiology is deeply rooted in personal history. I’ve faced health from three perspectives: as a physician dedicated to healing, as a patient confronting health challenges firsthand, and as a family member who has navigated the painful journey of losing a loved one to heart disease. Witnessing my father’s heart attack at the tender age of three and his subsequent cardiac arrest during my medical school years propelled me into the field of cardiology. These experiences, coupled with my own health challenges, have been transformative, teaching me the importance of compassion and empathy. Through my personal journey, I have gained invaluable insights into the patient experience, enriching my approach to care and enabling me to connect with and understand my patients on a deeply personal level.
